I admit some of the zoos in the world (5) (try) to reproduce the animal's natural environment, but plenty of them (6) (be) only interested in making money. Good zoos can do a lot to help animals in danger of extinction. Many species of animals which are now extinct in our country (7) (could / save) if zoos had played their part years ago. Some animals (8) (could / take) to places where they could reproduce freely and safely years ago, but none of the zoos in our country (9) (involve) in programs to preserve dying species until recently. Each of us (10) (have) a responsibility of forcing local zoos to join these programs.
